Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 81.2, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Even being the best device in this review, it must be told that it's also older, thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use the same Android 5.0 OS, so both of them should provide very similar operating system features.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z3+ have really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a just a bit inferior pixel quantity in each inch of display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a better processing unit than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy Note 3 also has more cores and an additional GPU.
The Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia Z3+ shoots clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also has a lot larger sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a way better resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Note 3 has a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z3+, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a lot more than Xperia Z3+, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
