Comparison review
Galaxy Note 4 is much better than the Xperia Z3+, with a overall score of 81.6 against 73.7. Even though Galaxy Note 4 is a better cellphone than Xperia Z3+, we must note that it is also a somewhat heavier and thicker cellphone. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
Galaxy Note 4 counts with a quite better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Note 4 also has more CPU cores and a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a quite bigger display and a little better pixels amount per screen inch.
Xperia Z3+ and Galaxy Note 4 both have very similar storage capacity to store more games and applications, they have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and equal internal memory. The Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality, a larger aperture and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Note 4 features just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity instead of 2930mAh.
Galaxy Note 4 costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3+, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
