Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z3+, having a global score of 79.3 against 73.7. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 5 has 5.1 version and Sony Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version. Despite being the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also a just a little bit thicker and heavier device.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note 5 has just a bit better display than Xperia Z3+, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a larger sensor.

The Xperia Z3+ counts with slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Note 5 has just a bit better battery life than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z3+. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z3+, giving up a couple specifications.
