Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bit better than Xperia Z3+, with a score of 80.8 against 73.7. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version. Although it's the best in this comparison, it must be noted that it's also older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier.

The Galaxy S5 has a little sharper display than Xperia Z3+, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy S5 counts with a faster processor than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Galaxy S5 also has an extra graphics co-processor and more processing cores.

The Xperia Z3+ shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z3+ also has a bigger aperture for better low light captures, a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a camera with a much higher 20.7 megapixels resolution.

The Galaxy S5's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the Sony Xperia Z3+ one, they have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Z3+ has a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z3+. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xperia Z3+, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
