Galaxy S6 Active has an overall score of 80.9, which is slightly better than Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Both of these devices come with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so both should provide all the same operating system features. Galaxy S6 Active is a incredibly thicker but extremely lighter cellphone than the Xperia Z3+.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a lot better processing power than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a greater number of cores , a 64 bits CPU and a graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a sharper display than Xperia Z3+, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active. They have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z3+, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia Z3+ takes greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z3+ also counts with a lot higher 20.7 MP resolution back facing camera and a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs.
Galaxy S6 Active is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z3+, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
