Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 Active is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3+, getting a 75.8 score against 73.7. The Galaxy S7 Active is a newer cellphone than Sony Xperia Z3+, but it is thicker and notably heavier. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a bit better processor than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a slightly better display than Xperia Z3+, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count in each inch of screen and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy S7 Active has a slightly better memory for apps and games than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB.
Xperia Z3+ shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z3+ also counts with a way more megapixels camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a really longer battery duration than Xperia Z3+, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z3+. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z3+, resigning a couple specifications.
