Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3+'s global score of 73.7. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, so it offers a lot of extra features. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge body is newer, but a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z3+.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit faster processor than Xperia Z3+, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Xperia Z3+ has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a little less pixels per inch in the screen and a quite smaller screen.
The Sony Xperia Z3+ shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Galaxy S7 edge features a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy S7 edge also has an external memory slot that allows up to 200 GB. The Galaxy S7 edge counts with greater battery lifetime than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 3600mAh battery size instead of 2930mAh.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z3+. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S7 edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z3+, resigning some specifications.
