Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 is much better than the Xperia Z3+, with an 81.7 score against 73.7. Samsung Galaxy S8's body is newer, but thicker and a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z3+. Galaxy S8 and Xperia Z3+ feature extremely similar screens, although the Galaxy S8 also has more pixels per screen inch, a way higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bigger screen.

The Galaxy S8 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Xperia Z3+ shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z3+ also counts with a way higher 20.7 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.

Galaxy S8 has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 2 percent larger battery size.

The Galaxy S8 costs a bit more than the Xperia Z3+, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
