The Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z3+'s score of 73.7. Although Galaxy XCover 5 is incredibly newer than the Sony Xperia Z3+, it is noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the newer 11 version and Sony Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, so it provides lots of additional features.
The Sony Xperia Z3+ has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a higher amount of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy XCover 5 has a superior storage for applications and games than Xperia Z3+, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB.
Galaxy XCover 5 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a higher number of 2 GHz cores and 1 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit longer battery performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 3000mAh battery size. The Xperia Z3+ shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
