Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is much better than Xperia Z3+'s global score of 73.7. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably newer cellphone than Xperia Z3+, but it's thicker and noticeably heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a sharper display than Xperia Z3+, because it has a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a much greater display density and a bit bigger display.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a quite superior processing power than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a greater amount of RAM and more cpu cores. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB and more internal storage capacity.
Xperia XZ2 Premium's camera is very similar to Sony Xperia Z3+'s camera, because although the Xperia XZ2 Premium has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a less MP resolution camera in the back, and they both have the same back camera sensor size, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and video.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has superior battery life than Xperia Z3+, because it has a 21 percent more battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia Z3+. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia Z3+, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
