Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than Xperia Z3+, getting a general score of 77.6 against 73.7. Even being the best device in our current comparison, Xperia Z5's design is a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker than Xperia Z3+. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has a more recent 5.1 version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0.
The Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit better display than Xperia Z3+. They have a display with the same size, the same screen pixels density and an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Xperia Z5 features slightly more memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 200 GB.
The Xperia Z5 has a better processing power than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Xperia Z5 also has an extra GPU and a higher number of cores. Xperia Z3+ and Sony Xperia Z5 count with very similar batteries, although the Sony Xperia Z5 has just 2900mAh of battery capacity against 2930mAh.
The Xperia Z5 captures slightly better photos and videos than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rates and a 0.43 inches sensor, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger aperture and a more MP camera in the back.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z3+. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z3+, letting go some features and specs.
