Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite body is just a little thicker and heavier than Xperia Z3+.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a better processing power than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel density.
Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also counts with a much more megapixels back facing camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z3+, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
