Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3+'s 73.7 global score. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro design is noticeably newer than Xperia Z3+'s, but it is somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version.
Xperia Z3+ features a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater display density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has more internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a little faster CPU than Xperia Z3+, because it has more RAM and more cpu cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a much longer battery life than Xperia Z3+, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2930mAh. Sony Xperia Z3+ takes better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a larger aperture for better low-light captures and video, a camera with way more mega-pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
