The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3+, getting a global score of 76.6 against 73.7. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction is noticeably newer, but notably heavier and way thicker than the Xperia Z3+. These devices have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a higher number of cores. The Xperia Z3+ has a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixels count in each inch in the screen.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z3+, letting go some specifications.
