The LG G3 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, getting a 76.4 score against 70. Both phones in this review include the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. LG G3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia Z4 Compact, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a bigger display and a little bit greater display density.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Compact has a bit more powerful CPU than LG G3, because it has a larger number of cores (although slower), a 64 bits processing unit, a higher amount of RAM memory and a much better graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz. LG G3 has much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The LG G3 shoots way better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, although it has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution. The LG G3 has a battery lifetime that's just as good as Sony Xperia Z4 Compact's battery lifetime.
