The Galaxy Note Edge has a global score of 81.7, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact's general score of 70. Both of these phones include the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding operating system features. Galaxy Note Edge features a bit better screen than Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, because it has a little bit more pixels per screen inch, a bigger display and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Note Edge has much more memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.
