The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z4v, having a score of 83 against 78.8. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 8 has a newer 11 version and Sony Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Asus ZenFone 8 is a incredibly newer cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z4v, but it is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier.

Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z4v, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia Z4v features a little more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a greater pixels count per display inch.

Asus ZenFone 8 features a very superior camera than Xperia Z4v, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and video, a way better video definition, a way larger sensor capturing much higher quality pictures and videos and a lot more MP back camera. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z4v, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Asus ZenFone 8 has better battery lifetime than Xperia Z4v, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
