Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Xperia Z4v, getting a 79.5 score against 78.8. The Huawei Mate 20 construction is notably newer and a little thinner than Xperia Z4v's, but it is also heavier. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1, so it gives lots of additional features and a performance increase.
Sony Xperia Z4v has a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Huawei Mate 20 features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z4v, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 20's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Sony Xperia Z4v, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Xperia Z4v features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a 0.43 inches camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a camera with way more mega pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 has greater battery life than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z4v. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z4v, letting go some specs and features.
