Xperia Z4v has a global score of 78.8, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8's 77.4 overall score. Even though the Xperia Z4v and Huawei Mate 8 were released with only a few months difference, the Xperia Z4v design is a bit thicker but lighter. The Xperia Z4v counts with an incredibly better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better number of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Sony Xperia Z4v features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with greater battery life than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
