Comparison review

Galaxy Note 3 has a score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z4v's 78.8 global score. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has older 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1 version. Galaxy Note 3 is an older and a bit heavier phone than Sony Xperia Z4v, but Samsung was able to make it just a little thinner anyway.

Xperia Z4v features just a little better performance than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z4v also has a larger number of cores (although slower) and a better graphics processor working at 600 MHz. Sony Xperia Z4v counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater pixel density.

The Sony Xperia Z4v counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z4v also has a larger aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments, a much larger sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and a back-facing camera with way more MP.

Galaxy Note 3 has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z4v, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z4v, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

The Galaxy Note 3 costs a little more than Xperia Z4v, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
