Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z4v's 78.8 global score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Sony Xperia Z4v were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 5's design is a little heavier but also somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia Z4v. These phones include the same Android 5.1 OS (operating system), so both should count with very similar operating system features.

Xperia Z4v has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a bit higher screen pixels density. The Xperia Z4v has a more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and more CPU cores.

The Xperia Z4v features just a bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. Xperia Z4v takes a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor and a camera in the back with much more megapixels.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with a battery life that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Sony Xperia Z4v.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z4v. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia Z4v, giving up a couple features and specs.
