Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z4v's global score of 78.8. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Sony Xperia Z4v were released with only 2 months difference, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is lighter and thinner.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z4v, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a faster graphics processor working at 650 megahertz and a 64-bit processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little sharper screen than Xperia Z4v, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little greater display density.
The Sony Xperia Z4v takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z4v, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Sony Xperia Z4v has a little longer battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z4v. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Xperia Z4v, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
