Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z4v's score of 78.8. Sony Xperia 1's design is extremely newer and a bit thinner than Xperia Z4v's, but it's somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z4v, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia Z4v features a slightly better screen than Xperia 1, although it has a way lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, a lot smaller screen and a just a little lower pixel density. The Sony Xperia Z4v captures clearer photographs and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and video in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera, better video frame rates and a larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

The Xperia 1 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia Z4v, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. Xperia 1 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has an 11% more battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z4v. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, else you can save some money and buy the Xperia Z4v, resigning some features and specs.
