Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Xperia Z4v, having a 79.8 score against 78.8. Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and the Xperia Z4v were only released 3 months apart, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium body is somewhat heavier but also just a bit thinner. Both of these phones work with the same Android 5.1 OS (operating system).
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better looking screen than Xperia Z4v, because it has a quite bigger display, a way higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a greater pixel density. Xperia Z4v counts with a bit faster CPU than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have 8 cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z4v also has a much better graphics processing unit.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z4v, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 200 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a little bit longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has a 14 percent greater battery size.
The Xperia Z5 Premium captures a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z4v, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a 0.43 inches sensor and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a back facing camera with a better 23 mega pixels resolution.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z4v. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Xperia Z4v, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
