The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Compact, with a general score of 77.4 against 75.1. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a way newer and just a little bit thinner cellphone than Xperia Z5 Compact, but it is also much heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, so it gives some extra features.

The Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z5 Compact and the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) both have quite similar displays, although the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2280, more pixels per screen inch and a way larger display.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a much better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a much higher 23 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures and videos.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh.
