Comparison review
The HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's overall score of 75.1. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has the previous 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version. Although HTC One M9 is better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, it must be told that it's also just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
HTC One M9 features a much better looking display than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a quite bigger display, a much better 1920 x 1080px resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. The Xperia Z5 Compact has slightly more memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 200 GB.
The HTC One M9 has a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory, a better graphics processing unit working at 600 megahertz and a 64 bits processing unit. The HTC One M9 features a little longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 2840mAh battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact takes just a bit better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a larger sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs, a bigger aperture to capture better low light images and video and a camera with a higher resolution.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, HTC One M9 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
