Huawei Mate 30 is much better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, having an 84 score against 75.1. Huawei Mate 30's body is incredibly newer and just a bit thinner, but way heavier than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. These phones use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 has a more recent 10 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact features a bit better display than Huawei Mate 30, although it has a just a little inferior pixel amount in each display inch, a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a way smaller screen. The Huawei Mate 30 features a bigger storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 30 features a little faster processing unit than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 30 features a really longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
The Huawei Mate 30 captures better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have the same aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 also has better 60 fps video frame rate, a way better resolution back camera and a much larger sensor capturing much better quality pictures and videos.
