Comparison review
The Huawei nova 3 has an overall score of 76.3, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's general score of 75.1. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Huawei nova 3 has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements. The Huawei nova 3 body is a lot newer and thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and the Huawei nova 3 both have extremely similar processors, because although the Huawei nova 3 has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, it also counts with more RAM. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a little sharper screen than Huawei nova 3, although it has a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a lot smaller screen and a little less pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact takes a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 39 percent bigger battery size.
