Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, with a global score of 79.5 against 75.1. Huawei P40 Lite's body is much newer and just a little thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. These devices come with Android OS, but Huawei P40 Lite has newer 10 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact counts with just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a way smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 and a just a little inferior pixels number in each screen inch.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 2700mAh.
The Huawei P40 Lite shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P40 Lite is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
