The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is much better than Xperia Z5 Compact's 75.1 score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, counting with some nice extra features and performance optimizations. The LG G8 ThinQ construction is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also heavier than Xperia Z5 Compact.
LG G8 ThinQ features a much better display than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a really larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a lot higher display density. LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with more RAM memory. Xperia Z5 Compact has a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a larger sensor.
