Comparison review
LG Q8 has a general score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5 Compact's global score of 75.1. Even though the LG Q8 is just a little heavier than the Xperia Z5 Compact, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. These phones have Android OS, but the LG Q8 has 7.0 Nougat version and Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, offering a couple nice extra features.
The LG Q8 has a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a little bit larger screen, much more pixels per inch of display and a way higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Xperia Z5 Compact features a bit superior processor than LG Q8, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor and a higher number of cores.
LG Q8 features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z5 Compact shoots just a bit better photos and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a way higher 23 MP resolution back facing camera.
The LG Q8 features a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
