Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition is slightly better than the Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a general score of 76.4 against 75.1. The Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition body is newer and somewhat thinner, but heavier than Xperia Z5 Compact. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact features a little faster CPU than Moto Z Force Droid Edition, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (but slower).

The Moto Z Force Droid Edition has just a bit better display than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a lot higher display pixel density, a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a larger screen. The Xperia Z5 Compact shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto Z Force Droid Edition, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a camera with a higher resolution. Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition has longer battery life than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 30% greater battery capacity.
