Comparison review

Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is slightly better than the Xperia Z5 Compact, with a score of 77.4 against 75.1. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition design is newer and a lot thinner than the Xperia Z5 Compact's, but it is a bit heavier. The Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a little bit better display than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a lot greater display pixel density, a larger display and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Moto Z2 Force Edition and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact both have very similar CPUs, because although the Moto Z2 Force Edition has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM. The Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 2730mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia Z5 Compact has a superior camera than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality, a camera with a much better 23 mega pixels resolution and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
