Motorola One Zoom is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, with an 80 score against 75.1. The Motorola One Zoom body has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, but it is a lot heavier. The Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit better processor than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a slightly better screen than Motorola One Zoom, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720px, a bit worse screen density and a way smaller display. Motorola One Zoom has a superior storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 72 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Motorola One Zoom has a way better battery life than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2700mAh. Motorola One Zoom captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola One Zoom also has a bigger camera aperture, a bigger sensor taking better quality photos and videos and a camera with way more mega pixels.

Motorola One Zoom costs a bit more money than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
