Galaxy A5 (2017) is a little bit better than Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a 75.8 score against 75.1. Even though Galaxy A5 (2017) is heavier than Xperia Z5 Compact, it's thinner and newer. Xperia Z5 Compact features a little faster CPU than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 Compact features a little more vivid display than Galaxy A5 (2017), although it has a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a lot lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a little smaller display. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a way better resolution camera in the back, a larger camera aperture and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
