Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a general score of 81.6, which is slightly better than Xperia Z5 Compact's general score of 75.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an older and way heavier phone than Xperia Z5 Compact, but Samsung could make it just a little thinner anyway. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the older 5.0 version and Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has 4 less cpu cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a better graphics co-processor running at 500 megahertz. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a brighter screen than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a lot greater pixel quantity per display inch, a lot better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a larger display.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low light environments, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 200 GB. Galaxy Note 4 features superior battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 19% greater battery size.
