Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5 Compact's 75.1 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 design is thinner but heavier than the Xperia Z5 Compact, and they were only released 1 months apart. Both devices in our current comparison come with the same Android 5.1 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a better display than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has much more pixels per inch in the display, a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a bigger screen. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact features a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (although slower).
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a larger aperture, a lot better 23 megapixels resolution camera and a bigger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
Xperia Z5 Compact has a better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 200 GB. Galaxy Note 5 has a bit superior battery performance than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has an 11% more battery size.
Galaxy Note 5 is not only the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also cheaper than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
