Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's score of 75.1. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version. Although Galaxy S6 Edge and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy S6 Edge is thinner and a little lighter.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a little faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a higher amount of RAM memory, a 64-bits processing unit and a much better graphics processing unit. Galaxy S6 Edge has a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a lot better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a little bit larger display and a way better display pixels density.
The Xperia Z5 Compact features a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a way better 23 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5 Compact. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z5 Compact, giving up some specs and features.
