Comparison review

The Xperia 1 is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, with a score of 82.6 against 75.1. Although the Xperia 1 is way heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, it's a bit thinner and extremely newer. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much better display than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a much greater count of pixels per screen inch, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a really bigger display.

Xperia 1 features a bit superior processor than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also counts with more RAM memory. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos, a camera in the back with way more megapixels and better 30 fps video frame rates.

Xperia 1 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 features longer battery duration than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 23 percent more battery capacity.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z5 Compact. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Compact, letting go a couple specifications.
