Comparison review
The Xperia XZs has an overall score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Compact's score of 75.1. Xperia XZs is a newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than Xperia Z5 Compact, although it's also heavier. The Xperia Z5 Compact features a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZs, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a larger number of cores.
Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a slightly better display than Xperia XZs, although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, a way lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a quite smaller display. Xperia XZs shoots greater photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, although it has a worse (4K) video quality, a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and video and a back camera with a lower 19 mega-pixels resolution, they both have a same size back camera sensor.
The Xperia XZs has a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZs also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xperia XZs has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z5 Compact. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZs, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z5 Compact, giving up a couple features and specs.
