Comparison review
TCL 20 Pro 5G is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a 76.1 score against 75.1. The TCL 20 Pro 5G is a much newer phone than the Xperia Z5 Compact, but it is much heavier and just a bit thicker. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but TCL 20 Pro 5G has a more recent 11 version while Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1.
Xperia Z5 Compact features just a little better processing power than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a little more vivid screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, although it has a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a lot smaller screen and a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The TCL 20 Pro 5G captures clearer videos and photos than Xperia Z5 Compact, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same size diafragm aperture, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality and a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
TCL 20 Pro 5G features a really longer battery performance than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh.
