Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a overall score of 78.1 against 75.1. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's design is newer and thinner than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's, although it is heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version.
The Xperia Z5 Compact features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU and a higher number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and Xperia Z5 Compact both have really similar displays, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also has a bigger screen, a just a bit greater pixel number per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a better memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xperia Z5 Compact captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 41% larger battery capacity.
