Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's general score of 75.1. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has the newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, providing you some additional features and performance tweaks. Xiaomi Mi 8's body is incredibly newer and thinner, but a lot heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
