Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, having a 77.7 score against 75.1. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a heavier but somewhat thinner cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has a quite lower screen pixels density, a lot smaller screen and a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with an extra GPU. The Xperia Z5 Compact shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a camera with lot more mega pixels, a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited environments and a larger sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 3350mAh battery capacity.
