Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a score of 77.5, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's overall score of 75.1. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 construction is newer and somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's, although it is also a lot heavier. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has a way lower 1280 x 720px resolution, a way smaller screen and a just a little inferior amount of pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 Compact takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a way more mega pixels back facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and videos and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality photographs.
