Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, having a 76.2 score against 75.1. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi MIX has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version, so it provides a couple additional features. The Xiaomi Mi MIX construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but way heavier than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.
Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, although it has a bit lower pixel count in each inch of display, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720 and a really smaller display. The Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (but slower).
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a superior battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 4400mAh battery size. Xperia Z5 Compact takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video quality, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a much bigger sensor taking way better quality pictures and videos, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos and a camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs more money than Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z5 Compact. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Compact, resigning some features and specifications.
