IPhone 7 has a score of 81.6, which is a little bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. The iPhone 7 is a newer phone, and it is also much lighter and a little bit thinner than Xperia Z5 Premium. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit superior processing unit than iPhone 7, because it has a graphics processing unit, 4 more cpu cores and more RAM.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than iPhone 7, because it has a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px, a much higher pixels density and a bigger screen. IPhone 7 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a slightly better camera than iPhone 7, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a way larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a very superior battery lifetime than iPhone 7, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity instead of 1960mAh.
Although iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 7, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go some features and specs.
