The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a global score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 global score. Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is somewhat heavier than Xperia Z5 Premium, it's just a bit thinner and incredibly newer. The iPhone 8 Plus has a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit and lesser CPU cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a 64-bits processor.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better screen than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a lot higher display density and a lot better 3840 x 2160px resolution.
