Comparison review
Google Nexus 6 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, having a global score of 81.1 against 79.8. Both devices in this review have the same Android 5.1 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, we must tell that it's also an older, noticeably thicker and just a little bit heavier phone.
The Google Nexus 6 counts with a bit better performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with a faster GPU. Xperia Z5 Premium features a more vivid display than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way greater screen pixel density and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a better storage to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 6, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a superior camera than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger camera aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit longer battery duration than Google Nexus 6, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3220mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z5 Premium. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
