Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the HTC U11, getting a score of 79.8 against 77.6. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium construction has the same thickness than the HTC U11, but it is a little heavier. The HTC U11 and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium both count with very similar CPUs, because although the HTC U11 has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better looking display than HTC U11, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and more pixels per inch in the screen. HTC U11 has a better memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a little better battery life than HTC U11, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC U11. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy HTC U11, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
